Ziaire Williams is not listed on the Los Angeles Lakers’ injury report for the Nov. 4 game at the Sacramento Kings, after left foot and heel soreness cost him three games. Juan Paolo David of Heavy reported the Nov. 4 report carries only Adou Thiero, who is out, and Walker Kessler, who is available.

Williams said he does not know what brought the soreness on. “Kind of just flared up out of nowhere,” he said, in comments reported by Eli Gregorski of Heavy. Asked about his health, Williams said, “I feel great right now.”

Gregorski reported that imaging on the foot came back clean, citing Khobi Price, and that head coach JJ Redick described the issue as soreness and the decision to hold Williams out as a precaution. Gregorski also cited Dave McMenamin of ESPN, who reported that Williams and Luka Dončić both woke up sore after a game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Williams returned to the rotation before the Kings game, and has described the open looks he is getting next to Dončić. Neither the team nor Redick has said anything about a restriction on his minutes for Nov. 4.
