Gary Payton II is questionable for the Golden State Warriors against the Orlando Magic on Nov. 7 with right calf tightness. Tipoff is 5:30 p.m. Pacific at Chase Center.
The designation is a new one. Payton was not on Golden State’s report for the Nov. 5 game against the Miami Heat, when the Warriors ruled out four players and no other rotation player appeared on the report. Multiple outlets carried the same designation and reason on Nov. 7.
Payton is one of three questionable Warriors for the Magic. Draymond Green is questionable with right elbow inflammation and soreness and Gui Santos with left knee tendinitis, while Jimmy Butler, Moses Moody and Kristaps Porziņģis are listed out.
The designation is as of the Nov. 7 report and can change before tipoff. Beyond the reason given on the report, the Warriors have not said more about the calf.
